*celebrating mum's 60th birthday. On Tuesday was mum's 60th birthday and 42nd wedding anniversary. We celebrated at our house with lunch with Trina and the girls and then had a baked pork dinner. Pork is mum's favourite. We had a great day hanging out.
Yes i have had my hair dyed red/pink. You know me, I change me hair all the time.
We almost forgot photos and had to do this just on dark.
Izzy started back at school on Thursday. She had to start back in her winter uniform. Mixed emotions about starting back. She was well settled at the end of term 1 and nerves started to creep back. She is getting there though.
I love her new uniform. It is so much more comfortable than her previous school. No button through to the neck or a tie. She can also wear short sleeves. My girl is very hot blooded. She felt very hot and restricted in her old uniform. No blazer either. Yay. She had her hair cut on Wednesday night. Trina straightened her hair. She was very excited. She looks so old.
Green is Izzy's favourite colour. So she gives the new uniform the thumbs up.
Mick has been in Temora for the weekend. Izzy and I watched Will & Kates wedding on Friday night. Yes I cried. I am a sucker for weddings. Izzy is besotted with Kate and Pippa. She has been designing wedding dresses.
We worked yesterday and have just hung out at home for the rest of the time.
Last night I captured a few pics of the my other baby. She is very difficult to photograph. She has black fur and black eyes which makes it almost impossible to see her actual eyes in photos and SHE NEVER LOOKS AT ME. LOL. anyway last night she was in a posing mood. She just sat and looked at me. Look at my beautiful fur baby.
Waiting for my boy to get home. Missing him. I am glad he has had the chance to have some time to himself away with his family, but I do miss him soooo much. Can't sleep properly when he's not here.
Looking forward to the start of the series of MASTER CHEF tonight. I love that show. It is one show I will stop to watch.
Off to play trivial pursuit with Izzy. We had 2 games yesterday and she beat me both times even when we were playing the kids version. (I may have helped her a bit) LOL.
Enjoying our Sunday.
