the weekend

Our weekend was packed.

It started on Friday night. We enjoyed spending time with family. Happy 2nd birthday to Sophia & Harrison. Hope your party went well on Saturday. Izzy enjoyed a birthday party she went to on Friday night for one of her new friends at ICS. They had to dress up as animals. Izzy went as a tiger. She looked so cute in her outfit. She had a great time.

We had shopping to do on Saturday morning. Then hung out at my brother's house for lunch before heading home to get ready for the ICS fete. Izzy sang in the choir and loved having mum and dad there to watch. I worked on the Slushie stall. We made fresh fruit and ice slushies. They were delicious. Izzy went off and hung out with her new friends going on all the rides. We didn't really need to be there lol. she found us when she wanted money... that will be the story of our lives for ever more lol.  

Lots of running around on Sunday and a big thank you to our dear friends Janine and Brad for giving us their sofa lounge. It now sits in our home office. Mick had to remove the door head and door itself to be able to get it into the room. IT'S BIG & HEAVY. It's perfect for our out of town guests who usually have to sleep on the floor.

Just as a side note, here is a pic of Mick taking care of Izzy's tamagochi (not sure of the spelling). Mick bought it to work to feed it so it wouldn't die. Wonder how many dad's would do that? I had no idea that he was doing it. I could hear a beeping sound coming from the drawer in our office. I asked Mick what it was and he said "that's izzy's tamagochi, it must need a feed".
